Description
Designed single door application. the IHS-Panic 296 Reversible Panic Latch is manufactured and tested to the same high standards as the Panic Bolts and is similarly operated by a downward trust action on the cross bar. A mortise plate is supplied as standard.
Construction
Main body and slave unit are of die-cast aluminum with internal shoots of solid steel
and tubular steel cross bar. The latch bolt is of extruded brass.
Finishes
An epoxy powder coated granite silver is available as standard but other colors can be
supplied on request.

Fixing
Surface mounted. Full fixing instructions and templates supplied with each bolt.
IHS Panic Latch can also be operated by rim cylinder fitted to the outside of the door.
