THE DOOR HANDLE COMPANY

IHS, with more than 30 years’ experience with ironmongery hardware, is one of Indonesia’s leading suppliers of door furniture – door handles and door knobs.

Our company was founded in early 1960 under the name of ‘toko Fantomas‘, during that time we were importing building hardware products mainly from Taiwan and Mainland China.

In line with the economic progress of our country, we saw there was a demand for good quality ironmongery hardware, and with the support from Laidlaw & Thomson Hardware (LT group) from United Kingdom, cv International Hardware Services (IHS) was formed in 1987. However, in 1991 LT group was merged with the Newman Tonks Group (NT group) which was the biggest supplier of ironmongery hardware in England with ever 100 years of experience in this field.

The NT group owned factories all over Europe and USA. Our association with NT group enables us to offer an even wider range of ironmongery hardware products at competitive prices. The NT Group gave us technical assistance and hence we are able to offer this similar service to our customers to our customers as and when necessary.

Since 1998 because of the big changes of restructuring in many companies world wide, we started to work independently and in order to maintain the standard of quality and prompt delivery, we tried to promote most of our hardware bear our own brand name “IHS”.

Beside products from NT Group, we also keep stock quality from Germany, Italy, England, America, Japan and China. Our products are available to suit every budget.

Since last few years, we had selected good reputation of suppliers from Asia and started import good quality of hardware from them to serve the local demand.
